I'd grab one of my dumb-ass classmates from when I was in grade school, drag their sorry asses back to World War 2, and show them how retarded they are for thinking everybody who was German was an automatic Nazi.

NEWSFLASH! THEY WEREN'T!

Whether it be real or not I'd love to see the battle of Troy as portrayed in Homers Iliad, not the movie starring Brad Pitt.

There's a few books in which something similar happens and it just made the thing seem more real to me. Ilium and Olympos - Dan Simmons, does this really well, but it gets a bit far fetched at the end of the book, with several timelines clashing and just making a mess of things with Hector making a pact with Achilles and they go off killing greek Gods while spaceships and whatnot kill everything else.

I personally would rather observe the battles and not get killed.

^^ on what? His suicide? You do know he killed himself by poisoning himself right?

And I would want to witness the Hundred Years War, just because battles during that era (900 A.D.-1500A.D.) always interested me.

I would like to see cape ecnomus just because it was the biggest battle in world history fought when the world's population was a small fraction of what it is today. The number of men in that battle were a significant percentage of the populations of their nations.

He bit the cyanide capsule and shot himself in the head at the same time.

The only historical accounts of Thermopile were from Greeks who were very biased and just writing as a form of propaganda. Herodotus fudged the numbers.

It'd just be silly to want to partake in a battle. What guarantee is there you won't die?

As for observing, I don't think I'd want to. All that death... I don't think I could handle it mentally...

The Battle of Cannae would be my first pick. Hannibal destroyed the Romans, killing 50,000 in men in a matter of hours. I would like to watch the entire Second Punic War, Hannibal is my favorite person to study.

I'd also like to see the Battle of Marathon and the Battle of Thermopylae since they are arguably two of the most famous battles in history.

I am a new terror born in death, a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.

Hannibal was quite an interesting was hero. I am interested in him too. As for me I would like to see The Battle of Bunker Hill so I could see the talent (or lack there of) that beat the British.

Saladin VS The english, definately.
Also, hannibal's conquest through Rome and such. I like how he proved the point that one man can make a difference.
Joanne of Arc would have probably been fantastic as well, but I'm sure there haven't been any epic battle's I'd want to see past her time.
