Well, I was checking my DVR, and as it turns out, an hour long King of the Hill episode is going to be aired.
I checked wikipedia and it said that two new episodes would be aired, I guess as an hour long, two part finale or something.
On April 30, 2009 it was announced that Fox ordered at least two more episodes to give the show a proper finale.[13] The show's fourteenth season was supposed to air sometime in the 2009-2010 season,[14] but FOX later announced that they would not air the episodes, instead the episodes would go into the syndicated run,[15] with another statement announced on August 10, 2009, that the network will air a one hour series finale on September 13, 2009.
If you didn't bother to read that, it just days that the show would be given a proper finale.
Do you think this is a good idea? I do, since the show's first finale was a piece of crap that ended nothing and just flat out annoyed me.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea, ending a series on a regular episode makes it seem as if it was cancelled instead of properly finished.

Yep the SERIES FINALE is September 13th. Apparently they're treating it as still part of Season 13. There are also 4 more episodes afterwards that will not be aired, maybe only on Adult Swim.

Uhhh, that show has a new season (26 half hour episodes) airing on Comedy Central in 2010. There's still a chance things will tie up.
You have to have a very strict sense of humour if you hate King of the Hill.

I'm just glad to see Mike Judge moving on to other projects. Between Office Space, Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill he's already built a legacy of humor. Plus he's got that new movie whatever the eff it's called, which i'm sure is bound to be more funny than "The Hangover" (which I still don't understand why it did so well)

Because all the movies coming out of recent are shite but they have to be hyped up.
That movie had constant jokes at least ( even if they were all 2nd/3rd rate jokes )

I'm a pretty big fan of Zatch Galifernapis and his comedy, but I just didn't see the humor in "OMG A TIGER!" "OMG MIKE TYSON!" "OMG A BABY!!!" etc, etc. It was an attempt at edgy comedy that just came across as a script written by a seventeen year old.
That's why King of the Hill is hilarious. It never really tries to make you laugh

Sad to see it go. It was definitely one of the best shows to air. It was quite different from the other ones, and unlike the Simpsons it didn't succumb to the Family Guy syndrome. It was original to the end.
Extract was a pretty good movie, if you like Mike Judge and King of the Hill you'd enjoy it for sure.
