That's pretty fucking easy if you've taken any history course in High School or even Junior High. He'd be an artist or an author, or both maybe.

"Pretty easy" went to "fairly uncertain" relatively fast in your reply.

I changed my forum signature.

Get over it.

Erm no. His art was turned down, and his writing was terrible. He was good at speaking in public though, and a decent soldier.

Had the art college accepted him, we probably wouldn't even be familiar his name if we weren't Germans. We'd be prattling on about some other dictator who started World War II, possibly Stalin. Or we could be in the middle of WW2 right now. No way to tell.

It's funny how such very small things could have such a huge impact on history. Would there had even been a WW2 should Hitler had been accepted to the art college? Just one man's decision on accepting him or not, would have made such a big difference.

True. But, then, would Himmler or Goebells have gotten a career in the mainstream, gradually harnessing the German resentments, making permanent changes?

And what about the communists?

And what about Soviet Russia?

Would America have recovered?

Would Japan become a democracy?

So may questions. And not one true answer.
