I've actually been asked by 2 different non-gamers if the PS3 and Xbox 360 games are "interactive".

I responded politely but the temptation was huge to react somewhat like "WTF do you think? If a video game was non-interactive wouldn't that just make it a fucking video?"

they don't understand why people play video games.

There are these friends of my family and theres this 7 year old kid and he's basicly the devil.
When he comes over he plays a game, sucks at it and almost brakes the xbox in frustration!!

When they say you wasted your life and money on a few people running around the screen

It annoys me when non-gamers think that every game is Halo. All they know about Halo is that it's a vidya game that the kids like, so they ask if I'm playing Halo, whether I'm playing Zelda, Brawl, Bad Company, or even RuneScape.

I hate it when I tell them "I'm busy" they say 'Oh, you're playing Xbox?" Since when has every video game system come an Xbox? even before it annoyed me, but was a little more accurate. Back then, it was "Are you playing Nintendo?"
