There's a lot of ways to learn. Mess around with the program. Click around see what you can find. There's even tutorials within the program so you can look at them and see how to do specific techniques and what not. Just take some time looking for tutorials and you'll get it.

Best off going on youtube, or use another program. I use FL and this program called Dubstep online music creator. Look it up.

I use FL Studio myself.
At the beginning I was not a friend of tutorials so I was just clicking somewhere to see what happens and I slowly figured some functions.
After a while I was able to understand some tutorials and I learned a bit more from them.
You should know how to basically use the program quite soon and then you should learn some things how to tweak the sounds.
