Today I made a preloader for a movie I'm making. After watching theweebl's 8bitpwnyclub I decided to try the effect. I've seen the whole animation + live footage thing done, but sometimes it just looks choppy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaVngda8X Z0 (no offense tomska and bing are pretty good film makers) well anyway: heres my method. lemme know what you guys think of the effect.
