Tupac had an interesting life, and he made influential music. This movie has a large audience, so i don't see any reason to wait 10 more years before making it.

The fact of the matter is that there are a lot of people out there who are more than willing to throw their cash away on watching a film like this. On one hand I think, "Why do they constantly make shit like this?" but on the other hand it's fairly obvious... the money.
