i have 250 songs on my 60gb hard drive for the xbox 360. and the only game saved to the hard drive is skate 2. why does it say i have 49.5 gigs left. 1,000 songs on an ipod is around 10 gigs. is there anyway i can reduce the size of my music?

I thought 1000 songs was like 4 gigs. anyways just get the 120gig harddrive.

It depends on the format. You can always encode it as an MP3 at a lower bit rate (I'm pretty sure iTunes is capable of this) but you'll lose quality.

it seems like the issue clearly lies in the size of "Skate 2".
I'm assuming by "on my hard drive" you mean you got it off XBox LIVE

Yeah, also, you should take into account just because it says 60 GB its actually less because some of the memory is used to support the system.

Obviously about 10gb's is of songs and the rest is skate.
