I wonder if Duke Nukem is going to end up winning. Truth is, I'd rather Mario or Snake win but I'd rather have Duke win them Bub and Bob or whatever those dinosaurs are called.

Why is Gordon Freeman even in the contest? He is literally supposed to be an extension of yourself, not an actual character that has his own story.

Well, the whole plan is to have Duke win, and Bub and Bob did take out some heavy hitters along the way, so it should be a smoother road for him. After all, you can always count on DOUK.

I thought the goal was to only defeat sonic and master chief. Why do you care about samus winning? Why would you want bub and bob to reach the final round?

Okay, Duke may be a more memorable character, but Link's so much more developed, you know?

I think the answer is clear enough but if we are talking about which one we like more than rather which would win in a fight then it up to us to decide and vote as to show what character is favored more over another by the majority.

It really doesnt affect me to see the Masterchief undervoted by some two dragons because its funny to see a hardcore soldier not favoured as much than some cartoony dragons.

Just to point out that these so called "attacks" are really not going to affect the internet that theres going to be riots and websites shutting down (well maybe 4Chan because they have been pushing it recently).

There is a word going around that GS switched B&B and Samus' votes around, allowing Samus to win. Of course, GS denies that, and they told us they simply took away the bad votes.

I wouldn't put it past them to switch the votes, however:
A) No way would Nintendo bribe them over this. They simply wouldn't care. It's not that important.
B) Bub and Bob did make a huge surge in a matter of minutes, so an unknown cheating method was probably used, and one that could easily be detected.

I think their story of holds up, they seemed pretty mellow when it came to B&B winning, letting him pass right up until they actually had any evidence of cheating, and the surge could easily be tracked back to a few sources.

I think they may have swapped the votes, but in all honesty I think we just suck and lost.

Yeah, I've known this for ages now and it does explain why there's yet to be a Character Battle on GameFAQs this year. However, their contests are even worse than what's happening on Gamespot right now, unless the rumour about the Bub & Bob and Samus votes being swapped around is true. I'm still disappointed to see Bub & Bob go but I hope Duke Nukem can somehow win against Link.

It's almost definiley going to be Mario versus either Link or Gordon Freeman.
