Yes, their sick. But they don't know any better. They aren't sane. They can't understand why what they did was wrong, or, maybe, that it even was wrong. They didn't make a conscious choice to be wicked.

I've been doing this all day, posting like, 100 double positive negative things. I've started making no sense whatsoever.

What I meant was; technically they didn't kill them, however they have caused them permanent damage mentally that can never - in my opinion - be changed and which will cause them life long problems.

Here's an article that gives some background to how they were raised. Only a few users in this thread have mentioned it. I don't think these kids deserve all the blame. Their parents deserve at least half, if not more. I also think, like Luxury-Yacht, these kids should be released back to society to be given a chance to redeem themselves, with the help of therapy, of course. If you wanna understand them, and maybe even sympathize just a little, you should think about what it's like to walk through their shoes.

I agree, their parents are partly to blame. On the other hand my Grandad had a Dad like that and he turned out fine. I hope that people don't forgive the kids after reading that article.

You're reading too much into my response to OrangeJews, where I just basically wanted to say that it's very possible that there is no solving those kids behaviour.

The boys won't be released for another 6 years and they say based on precedent that the boys may get new names. With such a large failure rate of the rehabilitation programs why do they continue to use it? I can't be assed to do the research on UK prisions but it sounds as if it would be much cheaper to throw these punks in jail. For American prisions the rehabilitation rate is just about the same but the program is cheaper.
