I think the tutorial section might be interested in tutoring you or some sort of computer college

I went outside once the graphics were awesome but the gameplay was shit

it's pretty unlikely that you'll find someone who can sit down and be your 'tutor'

what you need to do is try to learn yourself, then come back with specific questions on the material that you don't understand

yeah, and I need money from everybody who ever looked at me.

seriously, there's so much stuff out there: text tutorials, video tutorials, that you can get for free. other things are not too expensive, like books, dvd trainings or online subscriptions to elearning things (lynda).

Go and get it!

It's not that hard to learn from tutorials. I'm pretty experienced at flash now, and it's only been a few months of this:

1. Decide to make a really complicated game
2. Look up tutorials on how to do it
3. Make working isolated examples of the game
4. Fail and give up before you get 2% of the actual game done
5. Learn from your mistakes

And I'm doing pretty good :P

But seriously dude, if you're one of those people who is inspired by The Last Stand or Sonny or something to make some kind of epic, amazing, ground-breaking flash game or movie, then the only way to do it quite frankly, is to DO IT!

Like I said, fail before you get 2% of the game done, but learn. Then next time, you'll get 3% done, then 4% etc. etc.

Lots of failing and getting nowhere, but the experience and knowledge gained is invaluable.

i'm also learning action script (other then movie clip controls) and I'm finding it hard to learn BUT easy to understand. My way of learning it is finding a game making tutorial and learning the script. I do so by typing the script over and over and over until I understand it.

now thats my method and It may work for you but then again it only depends. I do with there was a site like video copilot but for flash ;)
