I asked my girlfriend for a number, and when i was having trouble what she was saying, she started cussing at me and told me to "get the fuck out". I stood in place.
A short story even shorter, she started throwing things at me, and dented the wall. She even kind of hurt me a bit, Im patient enough not to hit her, because this wasnt the first time this happened.
Her excuse is that she was on her period.
So tell me newgrounds, is a period an excuse for this violence?

No, periods are no excuse for that sort of violence.

I even want to ask the girls here on newgrounds, when you are on your period, do you lash out in violence like this? Or do you hold it in, like any self respecting person should?

I don't think you can act like a crazy, bitchy, violent person and then blame it on your period. If it's seriously that bad get some medicine for it.
But I wouldn't know. Just doesn't seem fair to me.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!

Most girls find it insulting if you blame their periods for their change of mood so no it really isn't a good excuse.
My signature was old so I changed it.

i think the less classy a woman is, the more she blames her period for it, kinda like how an asshole is an asshole with or without the booze, but, blames it on alcoholism

No. Periods cause discomfort and moodiness, but not irrational violence. Something else is probably stressing her out that she doesn't want to talk about. Or maybe she's a psychotic bitch.

I don't understad chicks who get pissy that time of the month. All I do is cry occasionally, my attitude doesn't change.
Perhaps it's because I take out my frustration on zombies and the like insted of my boyfriend. More girls should play video games.

Oh wow. No. Everyone I know does NOT get like that when they're on their period. It doesn't go much farther then getting bitchy. I will tell you firsthand that yes, I find myself getting irritated more easily when I'm on it, but damn, that's a little far.

At the level of violence you're describing, I would say that she's going a little overboard. But then again, those delightful few days vary from person to person, so maybe you just have one of those girls who has sort of "hyper"-periods and would actually do all the stuff you said.

No, it's not. And I'm a woman, mind you. Sounds to me like she's just looking for a scapegoat to blame her shitty behavior on.
Myself, I just prefer to be left alone if I'm on mine. Sure, I can feel crabby, but that's just downright ridiculous.

Actually, if I remember right, there was a study done that showed that PMS, in general, has absolutely no impact on a female's mood.
They're just bitchy all the time. Well, some of them.

Menstruation doesn't give her a reason to destroy everything she sees.
It gives her a reason to be lynched.

I've had a period for like 10 years now and have yet to inflict bodily harm on someone.
Your girlfriend is a psycho bitch. :-(

That really is the worst possible excuse for violence.
She could have just said "It's been a bit of a rough day and I need my time, nothing personal, though,"

They are an understandable excuse for moodiness and being short-tempered, but as for violence, no.
