Valve needs a better cheat detector, I even got the "warning" message.

instead of getting rid of those pesky cheater's hats. lets just loop the "YOU FAIL" clip over and over and over and over agian at the title screen and randomly play it while they are in game.

I'm incredibly knowledgeable on the subject, but I do know some. Some people (apparently 4.5% of TF2 players) would just sit in a locked game and not play in order to find hats and weapons. They're hoping that if they stay in the spawn point long enough, they'll pick up the desired weapon/hat.

Actually, it was due to an external application written by a guy called Drunken F00l, which basically emulated being in a server, but you could still go about your regular computer business like checking emails etc. Valve's taken a hard line on the people who did use this program, and have deleted a lot of their items.

last night round 11:30 I saw the steam icon changed to that updating/downloading steam icon in the taskbar, I checked for updates and saw that TF2 was updating but no new update on the front page, well atleast now I know what it was.
