We're in the final days of the Combat Arms front page campaign and I would like to thank everyone who tried the game, as well as Combat Arms for letting us attempt a re-skin! The results of this campaign made it possible to sponsor our ongoing weekly line-up of games. This has been a tough year for everyone but I think we all come out stronger for it.

September 22nd is Madness Day, go grab the loading screen wallpaper featuring Jebus! This works like last year, where you can use whatever preloader you want or the Flash Ads preloader, with this as the backdrop.

I have to agree, I didn't much enjoy the gameplay, not my cup of tea. Sort of reminded me of alien hominid, but with a fucktonne more controls and HOLY FUCK WHAT AM I DOING WHERE AM I WHAT IS THIS.

Played a bit of dads game, but it got repetitive, perhaps because it was muted and it was very hack and slash, with mostly slashing. The unique levels & boss battles are cool though.

I liked the WSW cameo but quite honestly didn't care much for the actual gameplay, the Z key is a 4th or 5th finger jobby and you're tasked with mashing it constantly for pretty much the entire game.

I am glad the prizes were actual monies instead of store credit, apparently McDonalds doesn't except NG shirts. That must be why the economy is bad.

Yeah, pretty much. Sapuken's forte is definitely artwork, so the programming aspect was quite lacking. It kind of ruined the game.

I'm mixed on Dad's game, some of the ideas felt right at home like spawning a weapon on demand whenever, but I pretty much spent the entirety of the game mashing Z. I RARELY pressed X with the lasers because that attack actually takes time to fire. Time in a frantic beat em up game. The guitar also should of been mapped to X instead of your PRIMARY ATTACK. Fuck I love the author but what was he thinking? you get 2 guitar shots and the guitar is mapped to the "hit things" button, so you can waste them both 5 seconds afterward.

Also I have no idea how anyone completed hard mode. Maybe I could play through with 2 lives, but why disable regenerating health? And not even restore it after you beat a boss or anything?

And the text looked horribly basic considering how much care he put into all the other art in the game.
