Indeed. I mean it's a funny idea, but you just executed it poorly.

Why are people acting so damn retarded over this..

oh wait, this is newgrounds, right...

Look, Disney bought Marvel, so what. Disney already has a line up for small kids and little girls, WHY WOULD THEY CONVERT MARVEL TO SOMETHING THEY'RE ALREADY DOING? It would be a waste of 4 billion dollars to do something that damn stupid and tarnish Marvel's name in the process.

Disney needs a way to broaden it's audience to young males. What obviously will be happening is Marvel cartoons will appear on Disney channels. Like I've just said, Disney already has shows for little girls, and I think they understand that not everyone on the face of the Earth isn't a 6 year old girl. Also, they're not anyone's parent.

Look, Warner Brothers has owned DC for years. Not once did you see Superman bashing out Daffy Duck's brains. Or, the Joker anywhere near Bug Bunny. Warner Brothers owns DC, yes, but, they're STILL separate. The only thing you people on the outside see is Warner Brother Logo accompanied with DC. But, no characters from Warner Brothers, other than the DC ones ever appear with DC.

Same with Marvel, those on the outside (the consumers) will just see Disneys name on Marvel products. On the inside, however, Marvel has financial support, and Disney gets to broaden it's cast of characters, and audience.

Stop thinking Disney's going to screw up Marvel, it ain't gonna happen. Them doing that is saying "Hey, LET'S THROW AWAY 4 BILLION DOLLARZ LOLOLZ!!"

Where's common sense.. omfg.

I get it, because hating Disney is what's cool right now!

Use your head, nothing going to change. Disney's too smart to make drastic changes to such an already well-established media franchise.

yea nothing is going to change. you will just see a Disney logo every once and a while but ultimately nothing will change. the whole point of buying out a company is to gain its established network, not assimilate

To be honest, I doubt that there'll really be any change at all.

Except, hopefully the price of their graphic novels will go down, which may happen. I've been buying DC for a while just because it's cheaper.

Everyone's freaking out about this, Disney isn't retarded, you know how much Disney owns? Stuff you wouldn't think they do, not only that, look at pirates of the Caribbean, that isn't really a kids movie. Disney will not ruin marvel, they will probably not even touch it, they just own it, so they get it's money, and vise versa, can fund larger projects.

Wolverine is going to stop fighting crime and instead start up a music career and possibly television mini-series.

Why does everyone think Disney will mess up Marvel. They never said anything about Disney telling Marvel what to do.

Disney will somehow make Marvel movies back into cartoons. Whether or not that's a good thing is up for debate.
