If it was not for these vents how would solid snake sneak into shadow moses? How would gorden freeman escape black mesa? Or how could Batman stop the joker in arkham asylum? We must not forget these vents, they are all heroes because with out them not only would our rooms become too hot but also if there ever came a time when your office became under siege by thiefs, terroists or the army you can always just crack open a vent and crawl to safety.

Without air vents some stages in Goldeneye 007 wouldn't have been as memorable or as fun.

Sadly, that's not true. But yes, air vents, whether big or small, are by far the most overlooked tools of espionage ever.
