The Bad Comic Challenge

[YouLostTheGame]

A thread based off of the original 200 Bad Comic Challenge. This is just for fun, as all artists have those lazy days when they want to get an idea out, but not spend a ton of effort on it. Plus, a lot of these can be extremely funny.

The rules are simple. Submit as many original 2-3 panel comic strips as you like. They don't have to be of great quality, hence the name of it being '200 Bad Comics.' Keep in mind, this is only based off of the 200 Bad Comic Challenge, you don't have to submit 200. Even one or two would be a good contribution. Again, this is just for fun.

I'll start it off with a few I already have up on my page that I did a while back, to provide a few examples.

The second one is mildly entertaining. The rest is horrible.

You got a pretty clean drawing style though, even if the frames are a bit crammed.

as much as i hate to argue with a mod its not for bad art its for rough comics which are funny or never really had any effort, its all for fun, have a laugh, if its good art then all the better but i think its more for funny comics

I realize that, and normally I think we all strive to do excellent work. However, I know that every artist has little funny ideas that he/she just needsto get down onto paper, and not necessarily turn into a maserpiece. I think there should be a place in the art forum for such things. Art is not perfect, and definitely not all the time, so shouldn't the more half-assed side of it still be celebrated? I know a lot of people who have done this challenge, and the response they get from people is great, so I fiured that perhaps a thread dedicated to it might work out too.

If it's really not going to work out, that's fine, I just wanted to give it a shot.

Well you don't really think they're bad, because else you wouldn't post them on your profile as a newspost AND make a separate topic for it.

And what's up with the defensive attitude? I just critiqued your art, what's so bad about that? Just because it's "bad" art, doesn't mean I can't comment. If an amputee runs a marathon, he's still going to get timed.

But it's a good idea for a topic, I'm all for some funny comics.

The art isn't bad though, just the idea of the comic that's supposed to be bad (but not really, in some cases).

I can see where this thread wants to go, and that place isn't a bad one.

I think this is a great thread idea, imo. I might make some. If anything it'll inspire some to maybe step into the comic-making scene, to try it out just for fun and with no commitment issues. :)

If it takes longer to post the image than it did to draw it, then it shouldn't be posted... at all... anywhere ...ever.
