Friend Wants Me To Do E

So I start high school this Tuesday. I'm 14. I've never done drugs before of any kinda (except like... Advil). And so my friend (who smokes weed), asked me if I wanted to do Ecstasy with him on the night of our first school dance. I've told him that I would smoke with him sometime soon but I don't know about Ecstasy...

Can anyone tell me anything about it?
What it's like.
What bad things can happen.
How easy it is to get addicted.
Anything like that.

Right now I don't really want to do it, but if there's no bad side effects or if it's not easy to get addicted... I might... try it.

Sure, E is generally harmless. Increases levels of serotonin reuptake in the brain which generally is a relaxing stimulant. Most of the time it's cut with caffiene, codiene, etc, in order to save some cash. Generally, unless you have some godly horrible reaction (incredibly rare) you'll be fine. You're more likely to get in shit because of what you do ON E than the chemical component itself, remember that.

What it's like.

A-FUCKING-MAZING... for the first few goes, then the novelty wears off. Good pills can give you a strong vibe of euphoria. The problem is your social context, you don't want to be a shitty high school dance. You want to be in a large party, loud music and a lot of people to talk to. You will feel like everyone loves you and you will love everyone if the pill is right. Downside is that it can be depressing coming down from the high.

As I mentioned, you will feel certain fondness to people so just don't make a fool of yourself. I've had people I've only talked to a few times come up to me and talk to me for 20-30 minutes on end about how much they love me and admire me for simple things. Don't be that guy.

What bad things can happen.

Listed above. Just remember that because you're in such a great mood doesn't mean everyone else is. Don't go up to the bulky, tough guys of your school and tell them you love them.

How easy it is to get addicted.

There is no physical addiction to ecstasy known. Psychological addictions are very rare too. You needn't worry about that. I love pills and haven't done them in almost a year simply because I just don't feel like them anymore. There's no addiction on my half.

Ok... I would give it a go but maybe not at your high school related function. Keep it to house parties... the best place to do them is where A LOT of people are on pills. You will have the time of your life. If a lot of people are on pills at your high school thing, I say go for it.

Note if teachers are there you will want to avoid eye contact for pupil dialation, drink a lot of water, etc.

Stick with 1 pill to you can realise your resistance to them and the potency of said pills. As I mentioned, most are cut with speed, caffiene and whatnot, but then again some are strong on MDMA (Chemical compound of E). Last thing you want is to be too smacked out, which will result in you dancing like an idiot, rubbing everything you feel and being far too noticeable.

Right now I don't really want to do it, but if there's no bad side effects or if it's not easy to get addicted... I might... try it.

Well that was definitely really helpful. Thanks for all of that. I guess I'll still think about it and I probably won't do it at that shitty dance where I'll have to listen to Nickelback... Maybe at a party or something. It's really weird hearing how amazing drugs are when you've never actually done any. I'm a generally depressed person and never really wanted drugs to take over my life. As long as I can keep myself together and not get "addicted".

That's ok. I was scared enough when I first tried E... completely uneccesary after I tried it. You'll find most drugs arn't actually addictive chemically. Just avoid the obvious big-uns, heroin, cocaine, meth, etc.

Furthermore, if you do decide to do E, find out what brand it is. Usually they are distinguished by colour or logo printed onto the pills, "Pink Hearts", "White Nikes", etc. They usually take common commercial brands to tell them apart. Use this site for a rundown on the pill, what's in it, what it's cut with and how they are rated.

It's a nice little thing and can give you a general idea of what's in them and how much to take.

There are different types, but in most cases.. you will either have a good trip or a bad one.. both include a variety of things, including extreme happiness, seeing odd shit, having a great time.. and the adverse alike.

Don't drink enough water and you could dehydrate, cause internal problems to organs, and as always.. die if you take too much, allergic to it, or as said before, don't drink enough fluids.

How easy it is to get addicted.

I'd say it's easier to get addicted to the feelings you have while on it, than the drug itself.. but each person is different, as is their mentality.

Honestly.. if you don't want to do it, then don't. If you're not comfortable with the risks, then by no means should you fall victim to retard friends, and do something you're not up for.
