Let's Make Fake Albums

Every forum I visit seems to do this from time to time and you've probably taken part before, but the results are always different and we don't seem to have had one of our own for a good six months or so, so let's give it a whirl.

The general idea:

1. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Ran dom. The title of the first random article selected, whatever it is, will be the band name.

2. Go to http://www.randomquotes.org. Take the last four or five words from the first quote as the album title.

3. Go to http://www.flickr.com/explore/interestin g/7days. The third image will be the album cover.

Then just throw everything together in Photoshop or Paint, fuck around with it for five minutes and see what you can do.

This actually wasn't a bad idea at all, I'm kind of enjoying what creative albums everyone is coming up with. Some of these look good enough to actually have some songs written for them. The one and only complaint that I have is the filesize that NG allows. I'm stuck exporting these images at 70-80 quality :P

But it's not even rain... oh, I get it. It one of those deep, mysterious, conceptually metaphoric and cognitively linguistic bands. Like My Chemical Romance or something.

Brilliant idea. The band name sounds normal, but the album title makes it sounds like gay clubbing music. I dig the album cover though, looks pretty realistic.

I'm suggesting you all cut down the pictures and use a 500x500 or any square canvas size. Just looks more like a CD =P
