I never really listened to music by Oasis, so I'm not really bothered either way.

Only Noel has left, the band still remains though.

Seriously, if you learn to play "Some might say" and "Wonderwall" on guitar, you can play every other Oasis song there is.

Their only good song was Wonderwall. My dad is a die hard fan of Oasis, I wonder how he's going to take this.

I promise you a greatest hits album will only be awesome on the first disc. The second disc will stop.

And they'll be back, eventually. Liam and Noel have needed time apart since they first got famous. I'm sure there'll be a reunion concert to look forward to in 4-5 years.

"Oasis" is such a cool name for a band. Also, they were pretty good, and had a distincitve sound.

I know I was pretty pissed off when I heard the news last night. Without Noel there is no Oasis!

That's too bad. They had some great tunes and I always suspected that once they matured a bit their music would hit stride once again.

By the way, I think it's great that all of you haters are somehow 'victims' of exposure to their music. Ha ha.

They've been arguing amongst themselves (the brother's that is..) for years and years, they say what they say, probably they've stuck together for the sheer amount of good music they produce yet is spoiled by inter-band-relationship feuds. I probably believe that they will spilt up, but it's not got to be blown out of proportion, like the Peter Andre and Jordan shite I get bombed with. It's all about the after effects, and what each member has to say about the split-up. Although some members will pick sides, or neutralise themselves and form another band, who knows.. I say watch the space, but dont get picky when the party's over.

I like 2 their songs, so I'm not so sad. But yeah, one legendary band less

Oh, and even if the other members haven't split, Noel is gone so the music's gone as well.

My hope though, is the Noel like, joins another legendary band/forms a supergroup.
