On topic, Halo 3: ODST will be awesome, simply because it has a 9+ hour campaign, Firefight mode, and a separate disk for Halo 3: Mythic Edition in it. It also has a Halo: Reach beta, so stfu.

please tell me where you got the info on the campaign. because its actually only gonna be a 5-7 hour campaign.

i did read it somewhere, and saw a video of the people at bungie in an interview saying that, and trust me, the campaign will NOT be 9+ hours.

Which is 8+ hours if you aren't a speedrunner. It took me around 9 hours on the first run through and then 10 more for the second way through while just finding skulls and easter eggs. Then legendary took a bit longer.

One word: Firefight

The only thing i'm excited for is the "horde" mode,which I enjoyed playing in GOW2.

90% of Best selling modern FPS's are Generic as fuck, with very little originality.

after looking at this, my interest for Halo 3: ODST flared up a TON

the graphics look significantly improved from my view, especially the face models. it looks action packed, and perfect for a halo fan like me. i always wanted some sort of open ended halo, and this game looks highly highly highly replayble.

halo is better than most of the other fps games like gow2 and cod5.
not because of the story or multiplayer but because custom gametypes and forge makes the possbility's endless for people that have some creativity.
there are more war games of actual wars than sci-fi without mindless carnage(super alien zombies of doom) all the time.

halo 3 odst's campaign does look good since you get some new tactical weapons and you have to keep in mind that you have health and not recharging shields. firefight is gonna be fun since the enemy's are looking for you and not vice-versa.
and also, i always wondered what happend to new mombassa after halo 2.

id play this over a ww2 game anyday.
