Can someone explain to me how to consistently lucid dream? The website's methods I try don't really work for me.
A lot of trial and error is involved, it took me a couple weeks to make a system that works.
You have to wake up from your dream at the right times, usually through the use of an alarm. Otherwise, you'll forget you ever had the dream. When you wake up, you also have to very carefully remember your dream. Upon waking up is the most times I've lost my dreams.
Some sites tell you to use a dream journal, which, to me, seems like bullshit.

Explain the sleep paralysis in terms a moron could understand.
Basically, you lay very still until you trick your body to fall asleep before your mind does. You can't move at all, or else it won't work.
This makes it so you can't move, and it helps for some people.

Do you use the sleep paralysis method? I've been using a variation of that for a while, which works much faster and is a lot more comfortable.
Explain.
It's a form of meditation my Dad taught me. You lie very still, but you very actively imagine moving, like running or swimming or something. This tricks your body into falling asleep faster, usually because it's like what you'd be doing in a dream. The trick is still to not move, though.

You should tell us how to do it.
There are a lot of guides online that tell you how, but you really have to try to see what works for you.
Also, you guys haven't been making a whole lot of suggestions.
