Let me clear something up here if I may.

NSFW= Not Safe For Work...

But what does that MEAN you might ask?

Well young one not safe for work means that by opening the thread in question something will appear on the screen will get you FIRED from WORK. Also it may piss of parents, wives, husbands, girlfriends, etc etc.

In the broadest terms as far as this forum is concerned that mean PICTURES! If you post a drawing, photo, whatever that falls under the category of NSFW then title it as such. If you are posting a link to a video in the thread then there is no need to title the entire thread NSFW. Title the link NSFW.

WORDS ARE SAFE FOR WORK.

Usually every thread has at least one curse word, dirty joke, and/or mention of a human private part. Thus we do not need to title threads NSFW due to what your opening post says.

In closing AKA TL;DR:

Stop naming your your threads NSFW if it is indeed safe for work. It is annoying because I expect some down and dirty good times when I click a NSFW thread.

Thoughts?

Uh.. some words aren't so safe for work...
I could EASILY make a sentence, paragraph or page full of words that not only might get you fired, but might screw with a lot of things in your work/school setting.

Kinda does actually. I mean if you think about it.
I mean some people actually listen when a thread is made concerning a subject of behavior, it's much better than just letting it slide...
ooh, that sounded sexy.

A word definition means what one thinks it means, even if they are wrong

I agree, it gets annoying when people post NSFW in the topic title when the actual thread is asking about something completely safe for work.

Umm...no? That's true on a personal level but by that logic you might as well just speak your own language. It's obvious that meanings are somewhat arbitrary and so on a philosophical level words signify nothing at all, but in practice that's obviously false. Words are defined by consensus.

If you are browsing NG while at work you deserve to get fired anyway. You should be working instead.

I possess my fair share of "down and dirty good times" with your biological mother. You on the only hand(See what I did there?) are forced to stroke that miniscule stub.

Yeah, I actually thought there was something NSFW in this.
You should've put it in quotes instead of parenthesis.
