He may be effectively out of the running for the Democratic nomination, but he still has things to teach us:
"I do not recommend drinking urine . . . but if you drink water straight from the river, you have a greater chance of getting an infection than you do if you drink urine."

Possibly. Either that or he just doesn't drink unpurified water at all... Which... Seems... reasonable...

I found this hysterical up until I realized that he was right.
He's right though, there was a plane crash a few years ago in the river south of montreal, he survived the plane crash but he died from all the chemicals he had swallowed in the water.

Ok, here's a fun poll: Who can drink their tapwater / from a river nearbye?
At my house we have our own well, the water is fine. I don't drink out of many rivers though. It's hard enough finding some that you can swim in :\
The one thing force produces is resistance.
I live on a big ol' island of 6 million people and we have 4 water treatment plants so although all of our water comes from the surrounding lake/river I'd like to think that our shiny water treament plants are doing their job.
However, a few years ago, I proceded to drink water straight from the faucet without a glass or anything.
Long story short, water shouldn't smell like eggs.
Needless to say it wasn't hard to convince my family to purchase a Brita water filter.

I get water from a very deep well, other people taste it and say "gross, theres no TASTE to it", lucky me. Ive never had problems with drinking water.
If you cant drink water without it being processed maybe its a sign to cut down on the damn garbage and sewage going into the lakes.

Water in lakes before 1800 = Clean and nice
Water in lakes in 2004 = Undrinkable.
Somehow, this isn't how the world was sdesigned ot be.

Well, somewhere in between, it became OUR world, and industry. Which of course, nobody knew what was going to happen a hundred years later because they were too busy trying to make a living.
I can hear the ''oops!'' from all those graves. Can't you?

If they didn't know, that's forgiveable. If they do know, and ignore it, then that isn't.
