Damn! I guess now they can't make fun of his drinking anymore at least not for awhile anyway. So if he's gone, how many of the Kennedys are left?

That's too bad. He was a great public figure. Less than two weeks ago he was calling upon... whoever it concerns to fill his seat quickly should it become vacant.

I didn't really care for his politics nor his rhetoric, but he did have a huge impact on American politics, whether you agree with him or not, and it's sad to see him go.

RIP Ted

Yes he did, I believe. I love how no matter who dies, people act like they were some God despite what they did during their time.

Yep. People seem to forget that after a drunken night of accidental manslaughter, he didn't tell anyone what happened for like half a day.

Guy was a fat alcoholic prick and no one should mourn his death.

It takes some sort of low-life to tear someone down who isn't even ALIVE to defend themselves.

That piece of shit got what he deserved, and is currently rotting in Hell!

In 1969, he was travelling in a car with a certain woman who was not his wife. He lost control. Car ended up completely submerged. Ted staggered out of the car..... and then staggered his ass home, while that poor woman needlessly drowned. He went home, consulted with some friends and advisors, and only after they worked out what sort os spin to use, only then (10 hours later) did he report the incident to the police.

He's responsible for that woman's death. But he was a liberal, and the National Organization of Women came to his defense; instead of denouncing him as the adulterous piece of shit that he was. Since he was politically on their side, he got a free pass for killing that woman. And to add further to the obscenity, he attempted to run for President in 1980. Thankfully, he fucked that up so badly, there was zero chance of a Presidency for him. Hell, his political career should have ended in 1969, and his selfish ass should have been tossed in prison for killing that woman!

Some of us are old enough to know what Ted Kennedy was really all about.

BTW, it was Chappaquiddick island, and her name was Mary Joe Kopechne.
