First attempt at art...

Does anyone think this is good, It took me like an hour to make, and it turned out kinda looking like Dom from Gears Of War... What do you think?!

well an hour is nothing, look 1 hour you did this then if you do for 6 or 7 hour think, don't rush that's what i did.

yea, drawing for that long makes me want to quit though, but your stuff is pretty good

And don't try self-depricating remarks next, those are pathetic. (for clarifications, this was a preventive measure.)

The work itself, I'd spend a bit more time on it, unless of course you're trying to push yourself to get something drawn in a limited timespan, or speedpainting.

Make your stuff good before taking a stab at fast, ok?

first of all calm down.... second, are you saying it sucks or what? maybe try and clarify a little more instead of criticising the whole time...

The artwork itself, though not quite awesometastic, is not bad at all.
You seemed to, however, be under the impression that spending a whole hour on your work is something very impressive.

But, fine, I'll use a friendlier expression.
Your artwork, as it stands is "not bad". Spend more time on it, and make it "good".

It's fun to draw from your imagination, I do it all the time. But when you work on something like you have posted here it helps a lot to have a reference, especially when you're first starting out with art.

Try using pictures from Google or a site like Posemaniacs to work on your anatomy drawing skills, it will help immensely. Good luck.

I'd say your art is no better though.
