And though they've been recommended already I suggest FullMetal Alchemist, Bleach, and Naruto. Also, s-CRY-ed. It's only 5 or 6 books long, and kinda rare anymore, but the story is decent and the anime adaptation was halfway decent as well (with a total of 26 episodes (if I recall correctly)). The manga provided more than its fair share of fan service as well, which is something most like, so that's another up to it I suppose. In any case, hope that this post has helped in some way.
