The Empire Off Star Wars Is Nazi!

I only realised the other day that the Empire off Star Wars is meant to be Nazi germany. I knew that the helmets were meant to be like the Nazi ones and I had known so for years, but I realised that when the Emporor gets rid if the jedis in episode 3 it is meant to be when Hitler had the S.A. killed by the S.S. and all the jedis are killed in the same way. Also, the emperor takes over the Republic and uses his powers to take over and make it the empire and becomes the leader, but Hitler did the same thing. He became chancellor and used his powers to eventually gain full control and have absolute leader of Germany. He also made a republic into the Reich, or Empire. There are more similarities but I am tired.

Any Star Wars fan knows that, and many outside the community understand that as well. George Lucas took a lot from history and influences from the outside world and incorporated the into the films and other media.

The thing is though, I hate stories like this. I seems like such lazy storytelling. Like 1984 (which I hate) which is basically an account of Soviet Russia with some words changed. It makes me angry. I do like starwars though.

Yeah but the difference is that in Star Wars, the Imperial commanders have British accents. In Nazi Germany, that was not the case.
