Ok, I admit it, I smirked. But only a little before pounding my forehead with my palm >:(

Think of it less as a competition and use your classmates as a resource when applicable. Focus on keeping your grades up and not so much about how others are doing.
Yeah, I've still got that competitive high school mentality where you feel the need to "beat" everyone and getting less than straight As is "bad." That'll probably die pretty quickly, but I guess it just takes time and the actual experience of college for it to happen.
Also you're gonna have to learn time management or you're not going to make it. I almost fucked up big my first year with that and I got my ass in line after that whole ordeal.
Indeed. It was getting pretty bad at the end of my senior year with 5 AM English papers and the like. I'm bad at setting studying routines, but I think I'll do better at college. Being less addicted to Newgrounds than before also helps.
But I'm curious; how did you "get your ass in line?" Did you set aside time for studying or cut out activities that were eating up study time? Or did you simply force yourself to study when you normally would not?
That's advice for you all too. Balance your school time and friends/social activities and you'll be alright.
Well that sounds easy. ;)
