Actually, "Christian" is the broad term for "followers of Christ". It includes Catholics and Protestants.

Im not a fucking athiest Im pagan Old Norse. I converted to this because it's the only real thing that interests me. My familys is catholic but I refuse to obey the church. Infact I am very anti-chritstian.

I just don't like religon discussed in an already dieing forum. Tom shoul made a fucking sub forum for religon ONLY.

I always looked at it that way. That God was some crazy tyrant douchebag and Satan was this rebellious individual who wanted freedom and individuality.

Old Testament God is different from New Testament God though. And I don't know if the devil is mentioned in New Testament. Not like I was ever religious.

Now hang on, I thought God is the only God, so how can we worship any other Gods??

"You shall not make for yourself an idol"
Now here he is saying that we absolutely have to worship him, and we cannot be an idol to anyone, like our children or younger siblings. He demands we love him only.

"You shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God"
So here he's saying that we can't say "Oh my God" or blame something bad that happened on him. Even if it is his fault, he is still never wrong.

"Honor your father and mother"
This is just some cheap way of having kids be good for their parents because the parents were too useless to actually keep their kids in order. Well I say fuck that, respect should be earned not expected.

"You shall not murder"
This is the most bullshit commandment there is. God has killed millions of people according to the bible such as the flood in the Noah's Ark story. And also, more people have been killed in the name of God than any other reason. When the Romans became Christian, anyone who wasn't Christian was killed.

The rest are just basic rules made up to keep people in order. But those few commandments just show what a power hungry selfish guy he is. "HEY you didn't surrender everything to me and bow to me therefor you can get fucked and go to Hell bitch hahahaahah"

It kinda reminds you of some whiny 12 year old with no life doesn't it? For a man that's supposed to love all of us, he really doesn't seem to make it easy for us to be with him.

These are both parts of the first commandment, and your interpretation is way off. They are interpretted as saying that it is wrong to worship false Gods, whether they are actual "dieties" or concepts (for example, putting money or pleasure before God would be wrong).

Again, that's not what it means. It's basically saying that you shouldn't go around called God a dickhead because you stubbed your toe or something. Also, I can't think of any situation that would directly be God's fault, assuming he exists.

I don't consider myself religious, but, if you're religious, you have a really fucked up notion of God. And if you're an atheist, all of this is moot and none of it should matter to you, because there is no God.

Honestly, Newgrounds should implement some sort of rule against complaining about religious matters. It's never productive and it only creates animosity.
