You need to improve your judgement skills.
I think it does personally. I've never seen anything score above 4.50 before and this flash i've never even heard of before scores a 4.80 and a perfect 10 review score.
I think you need to just quit being a dick

When one of the Tomorrows Nobodies episodes came out a year or two ago it had a score of like 4.85 and a perfect 10.0/10.0 score. It just got mass down-voted, just like Tarboy will.
Everybody didn't vote ten on Tarboy. It has a 9.6 review score, it says 10.0 because the average review scores round up.

Now why the fuck would you do that? This is a flash masterpiece. At the very least give an honest vote based on how well you enjoyed/appreciated the effort put into the movie, rather than for the very scarce humour to be found in being different from everyone else. I'm very disappointed by your actions/sayings.

Do you remember an author named SpikeVallentine who made an animation called Snow Snow For Lucy? It reached the big screen, who's to say that Tarboy couldn't end up at a film festival like Snow Snow did?

must admit that one slipped under my radar. but in fairness that was only a trailer.
David Firth is also making a feature film. It's not finished but he's updating the progress here
There have been a few decent animations that imo could easily transfer to tv
this being one of my favourites, but none as good as Tarboy.
It's Almost 800 Reviews And Still 10.0 [Exactly, It Is 9.95]
What I Think, Is That Tarboy Deserves A Score Of 5.00, Something That Has Never Happened Before. And It WON'T! JUST LIKE SOME OTHER SAID ABOVE ME: "Ooooo, We.. .eh.. We Just. Yeah, We Just Voted 0.. Haha..eh.. Just For Fun" MY ASS!! GO GET YOURSELF A LIFE!!!!
Anyways, There Is Still Hope For It To Get A Score Above 4.90!
DO YOU HEAR ME, NEWGROUNDS! VOTE 5 ON TARBOY, AND MAKE IT HAVE A SCORE BETTER THAN ANY MOVIE ELSE ON NEWGROUNDS! IF YOU DON'T, GO SHOOT YOURSELF!
Honestly, I Really Mean It. I Mean, Who Could Possibly Hate That Movie? And Btw, NewGrounds Has Some Special And Really Awesome Movies And Games, Which None Other Sites Do. NewGrounds is Special, And It Deserves A Change. Make NewGrounds Be The Best And The Most Special Flash Site On The Internet, And By That, Help It's Submissions By Voting Honestly :D
And For The End, A Last Question:
"Did You Like TarBoy Or Did You Not Like It?"
- Simply Answer YES or NO, And Please A Reason Why You Did Like It, Or Didn't
Example:
YES
- because the graphics, animation, music and the story was really awesome, and very great made

I just watched it with out audio, as I'm at work and I still enjoyed it and understood what was going on, which is credit to the animator. I plan on watching it again tonight if I can with the audio so I can fully enjoy it. Its nice to see good work recognized.

Its not always about what technology was used to produce the effect. So long as you get the emotional response intended by the author and can understand the underlying story I think an animation has succeeded. I mean, you look at something like south park and I wouldn't call that beautifully drawn, but it certainly has its merits on another level, even with animation.
Certainly there were parts where I watched it, and I was focused on the animation and I noticed things I might not have with the sound, scenes that seemed to drag or just be barely passable, but there was still plenty of good animation there, and a lot of the tar was frame by frame.
Most sources I've ever read on animation highly discourage redrawing everything or having a lot of changing. Its often suggested that you use loops and recycle images because its sometimes more powerful to do so.
I don't understand casting down an entire work simply because it used tweens. Perhaps there's some level of professional appreciation you can have for frame by frame animation, but tweens get it done too.
This feels like an argument between functional, oop, and goto.

The scene with the stalking robot is fantastic, the music is great and goes perfectly in sync. It also looks fantastic and incorparates many different elements of cinemotagraphy, more artists should do just that.

Because truthfully the people are jealous that they aren't that good so find the easiest thing about said animation to slate.

It's already been in film festivals. Hania said so.

The ending scene gives me chills. Everything just unites together perfectly: the story, the visuals, and the music all hitting you at the same time. I especially liked how they cut between different shots; it relayed a lot of intensity.
If James and Hania get the opportunity, they should totally make a full-length feature out of this and release it worldwide. It's a testament to what can be done with animation.
BTW, I noticed they're both named Lee. Connection?
