360 streaming

I was wondering about how you connect your pc to your 360. Do I need a direct wire from my pc to 360 or can I use my router/modem which has 4 outgoing Ethernet wires. Also What is Xplorer360? Does anyone know where I can find a Hash block Calculator?

Haha looks like someone is trying to mod. I wish i knew but to do mods you need a Transfer cable or "Migration Kit" Search it up on eBay

Ok this is how I have it setup. I have a Verizon Modem/Router its a 2 in one deal. It has 4 slots and I have 1 ethernet wire going from router to pc 1 ethernet wire going from router to xbox.

Now I have windows media player but it didnt seem to work out. So I downloaded a Zune player and that didn't work either. It let me play crappy madonna songs that where already on the zune player thats it.... I enabled file sharing with xbox 360 in settings on both the media player and the zune player. It says no songs are on. The name of my pc is King and When i go over to videos or music it says king however its basically a blank screen once i get there.

Ok heres the issue its not letting me add any mp3 format song. Whyyyyyyy?

Ok So how do I take mp3 music and also AVI format movies and add them to windows media center it doesn't detect them normally.
