Cats or dogs?

Which do you like more? And maybe, which is the kind that you hate?

For me, I like cats, they remind me of me, and they're more quiet, more loving and there isn't much bad sides about them if you've kept them as long as they can remember.

Dogs on the other hand... I hate them, ever since childhood, dogs have been chasing me, barking at me, biting me, they just hate me for some reason. Those monsters.

I like cats more because they're cleaner and are more independent. Dogs can get destructive and messy.

Plus my neighbor has 2 dogs and in my backyard theirs this hidden path that leads from my backyard to the street my school is on making it way faster to walk to school, and this path goes right past my neighbors backyard and if the dogs are in the backyard they will run up to me and start barking at me with only a really thin wire fence between me and the dogs. It scares the fuck out of me.

Lol at people who think Cats are smarter than Dogs. Compared to Dogs, Cat's are batshit retarded. Canines are just under Rodents and Apes in what's more intelligient. Felines are somewhere in the middle. There also WAY more loving to their Master, a Dog would kill it itself if it knew that it's Master would die if it lived, it would also risk it's life to protect it, there much smarter, more loyal and have more uses to Mankind (Hence the phrase: "Man's best friend.")

So obviously Dogs, anyone else that says different either just don't like Dogs because there hard to look after or just don't know shit about Dogs.

Yes, I used to have ajavascript:BBSPost.Save(); cat...After about 30 minutes or so you usually get bored or they get bored with a dog, they always seem WAY more entertaining, hell I love running with my dog on the field. Also, since when was having a Friend, not just some thing that thinks your theres to feed, groom and care for it "Wasted talent."

Cats are calm creatures, great for keeping around the house, and they are very loving. I suppose if you were raised to be a homosexual you wouldn't understand how to raise and care for a cat the right way, to make them love you.

Now me, if I raised a dog I'd get the same response from the dog as you would a cat, it'd be an egotistical prick. I suppose it's all about which animals you grew up with or how you were raised as a child.

I love animals of all shapes and sizes. Had both cat and dogs as a kid and I would like a cat in my adulthood for sure, but dogs are truly the best pets you could ever hope for. The whole "mans best friend" thing isn't just a phrase. Loyal to a fault they really are. We shouldn't really compare dogs and cats as they are different animals, different species of animals but when we compare them for pet purposes, it's so clear that dogs truly are the best.

The simple difference is that a dog will sit by you just to BE by you. A cat will sit by you if it knows it can get something FROM you.

It's nothing strange that you hear of heroic dogs trying to rescue their owners or refusing to leave the owners grave, yet not for cats. It's got nothing to do with dogs being dumb either. They're not dumb, they can look it, but they are just as intelligent as cats, some breeds can be anyway. They just aren't selfish, and they'll tolerant a lot more then cats ever will. Best pet to have when you have young children.

This is probably because of my longtime fear of dogs, well, I used to be afraid of them. Now I like dogs, but cats still take the cake.

I've never had a dog either, and I have two 1 year old cats right now, so I guess I'm a tad biased.

I've had both cats and dogs before, and I can defiantly say dogs. Dogs are loyal. They are grateful to just be in the same room with you. They WANT to be with you, where as the cats that I've had only wanted to be near anyone was just to get something from you. My dogs can pick up on my body language, the tone of my voice, and what I'm doing, to act appropriately to my mood. There are just as many dumb breeds of dogs as cats too. Just as there is about an equal amount of smart dogs as cats.

I also like cats more because they know that I hate pets bothering me so they just wander around aimlessly. Also kittens are soooooooo cute.

But hate dogs because they don't know when you've had enough fucking dogtime. They sniff at your crotch, most disturbing, and they're way too big to be jumping around all over the place. And the doorbell thing is the worst.

I like both for different reasons, dogs actually love you more than cats as they want to stick around with you alot more and cats just seem to love the food that you give to them, on the other hand, dogs can also sometimes over-do their love and get extremely annoying, cats just be quiet and lazy.
