Need your opinion

I need the opinions of the people of Newgrounds. I can't decide which one of these character designs to go with. "Prototype 1" is more serious and has a mouth. But "Prototype 2" is more silly and cleaner. Please give me your suggestions. And if no one likes either I'll just have to try again.

I think you should use prototype 2, but with thin outlines on it.

Use something lighter than black for the outlines and sunglasses. It's standing out way too much right now

neither, i guess depending on how you use it, but to me both are pretty boring and generic

I'm working on a comedic animation about our solar system. I am having a problem on choosing the style for the planets' design.

Alright, here are two more without those black eyes. (Yes, they are not sunglasses, they are there eyes.) Don't be too harsh drew these in a hurry. There's a storm a comin'!!

Prototype 3 is much better, but the mouth on prototype 4 looks really weird. I know what you're aiming for with that mouth, but the way you drew it, it looks more like q-bert.
