No maiden is the only sad thing here. The demo was amazing, and AC/DC does not belong in it. Metallica could only have a few songs that would work, but maiden would be nice.

AC/DC is a rock band for fucksake, this game is about metal.

Besides Metalocalypse, I think satirical metal is stupid.

I just played the demo about an hour ago and it was really good fun. The world from the beginning just draws you in. The dialogue and cut-scenes are made interesting with humour and the fact that Jack Black just adds that extra touch to the game. Never once did I think "Man, this cut-scenes going on a bit too long, I wish I could get back to the game." Even the cheesy lines 'Eddie' comes out with every few seconds aren't in the least bit annoying, but I might change my tone by the end of the game.

Either way, I'm really excited for this game. Seems like videogames haven't been fun recently.

I can't wait.

Rock Band is working close with Brutal Legend on getting the soundtrack into Rock Band DLC.

The first pack comes out on Tuesday, more are definitely confirmed to come, about 3 more.

Hmm. I played the demo for Brutal Legend on Xbox live. It was alright. I did enjoy the rock music blow ing those guys faces clear off.XD Though would buy it, Eh maybe for the gamerscore.

i really dint think its worth 60$. gonna get it for 20 though

Except that Tenacious D is so bad it's funny. I think that's the joke behind the whole band.

The game is far too directed to the target audience, and more. For that reason, I believe it is too heavy metal despite it being a 'heavy metal game'.

I'm still on the fence about buying this but i'm downloading the demo now, it should make up my mind.

I'm shocked about Iron Maiden, not so much about Metallica, I knew they pretty much wouldn't be in the game as Guitar Hero owns the rights to like the entire of their catalogue and isn't going to give them to a company that works close with Harmonix and Rock Band, sad I know, but that's business.

Also people who are surprised or disappointed that ACDC aren't in the game are idiots. ACDC is my second favorite band so don't think I don't like them but ACDC is rock, not heavy metal.

It's not as funny as Psychonauts so far, and apparently there's some Real Time Strategy component to the game that wasn't presented in the demo.
