Its coming to that time again where I require the wonderful people of NG to tell me if there's any bands I'm missing out. Most of my bands are either selling out, changing horrendously badly, or not releasing anything yet.
I listen to a wide range of stuff, so here's my favourites. It'd be great if anyone could help.
Bullet For My Valentine, All That Remains, InMe, Pantera, Amber Pacific, Breaking Benjamin, Sylosis, InFlames, Rise Against, Killswitch Engage, 36 Crazyfists and Finch.
I like a lot more, but it'd be great to have some new music. Hopefully this won't only benefit me, but other users will get into the bands posted. Also, if you say a band, could you say what they are similar to band wise, genre wise, and a link to a song by them.

My brother listens to All that remains, and he also listens to Bury your dead.

I like Bury your dead quite a lot.

House of straw.

They sound like Slipknot, they aren't bad.
Also, another favourite of mine, Misery Signals. Coma

If you like this stuff, try Shadows Fall or Unearth. If you're looking for heavier stuff, try Psycroptic or The Black Dahlia Murder.

I've been listening to Green Day lately. A good song I can recommend is Longview.

Cavo is going to be a hit, Black Stone Cherry is on their way up, their first CD was great but their second was a bust IMO.

Motorhead. Metal, and their most famous song is Ace of Spades, which should be easy to find on YouTube or something - Iron Fist is also a pretty amazing song.

Metallica. Metal. S&M, although being a live album, with songs that were post-1990, is pretty brilliant how they mix both an orchestra with metal. Apart from that, pretty cool.

New Model Army. Rock. Very wordy on politics and religion and all that, but I think they're really good and have a lot to show in their songs.

The Toy Dolls. Punk. It's less political than a lot of punk, but it's more comedic, and I personally love their songs, parodies and covers.

Enter Shikari. Alternative(?). Personally, I really love their fusion of dance music, proper instruments and screaming vocals, though on some songs they can go over the top.

Pendulum. Drum and Bass. Some songs have their instruments in them, my personal favourite being Propane Nightmares.

Pop Will Eat Itself. I'm notsure how to describe, I just really like their music.

Some of these seem popular and all that, but I live under a rock... so... fuck you! :D

OP, you have great taste in music. Most NG'ers don't share this taste and are into Techno so this is a bit of a shock.

just felt like throwing that out there.

Sounds like you're into metal mostly. I'd suggest:

Buckethead
Behemoth
Arsis
Arsonists Get All The Girls
Behold... The Arctopus
Between the Buried and Me
Breaking Wheel
The Dillinger Escape Plan
Nitro
Racer X
Evile
Slayer
Fantomas
Gatling
In Flames
Machine Head
Mastodon
etc.

THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS!

Who cares if they're only known for the Malcolm in the Middle theme song, they're still fucking great with a diverse 800 song discography spanning from the mid 80s to the present.
