I think it's still there. But you have a shared pool of T-Energy as a team, its in the thousands. It usually doesn't fall nearly close enough to start threatening you unless someone is wasting it all by dieing constantly. At least you can sprint now, and I think the invincability when entering VS's is gone.

I've been playing it for a while now, and im not liking it so far.

The graphics in comparison to the original Lost Planet have greatly improved, but the pretty cake doesn't follow things up with a beautiful taste. Something feels different in LP2, something I can't quite put my finger on. I think it might be how much closer the camera is to the player, I prefer it being zoomed out.

On LP1, there were different camera settings, EVEN A FIRST PERSON CAMERA

So they should include that again if it isn't already in there.

I really disliked the first LP, you walked at the speed of paste and it was way to easy to get ganged up on and die. Probably won't even play the sequel.

I have yet to really sit down and play the first one, aside from just playing a little dabble here and there, but I am stoked for the second one. The fights look truly epic, and nothing gets me pumped more then fighting giant space baddies :D And with friends too! It's gonna fill the void that Phantasy Star Online (for Game Cube) left me.. Those were the days..

I really hoped that you would be able to grapple from grapple in this game, or atleast be able to shoot whilst hooked onto something.. but no, neither of these things can be done from I know. I've already seen the grapple hook onto invisible walls too (near what you wanted to hook onto, but on empty space infront of it), that can't be good.

I probably will buy the game though, the Co-op could be alot of fun with some friends.

Last summer I managed to beat LP1 in its entirety, and it took a long time to get warmed up to it, but since I was on a roll, I didn't want to stop. Then I learned that achievements you earn offline on your XBL profile won't count once you log back in.

Damn it.

Wait till he drops down after losing two or three of his legs. It may say something similar to "Find a way to infiltrate the G type." At that point run to his face and you should hop down his throat.
Alternatively he may grap you with one of his tentacles from a distance, he will eat you, but it hurts bad and there's a fairly good chance his intestinal parasites will kill you before you can heal.
