when i posted some drawings sayin i wanted to be a tattoo artist, two years later and about $1000 later i full-filled my dream, thats why i havent been on newgrounds in a while, here ill post some work

Nice work! The dream catcher is my favourite, but then I like that kinda thing. I'm hoping to get a tattoo one day, not sure what it will be or where though. Eh, I'll think of something.

But sarcasm aside. The only particularly good one was the dream catcher. I gotta say, that one was pretty impressive. The baby and the castle look...a little wonky. The castle has a bad sense of scaling and the baby's a little...off looking.

at least you explain why you think the work is bad, kudos, ok pay attention, the castle, is a restoration, the outline was aready there all i did was shade it, thats when i was still learning how to shade, and the baby, thats hard to do a face like that, thats the first time i done something like that, look, i been doin this for two years, i havent had any training from a shop cause shops suck and wont work with me so i had to teach myself everything

I don't remember when age constituted a lack of knowledge about shitty tattoos, but let's just assume that it does for the sake of your poorly constructed, "stupid-fuck" knowledge argument. Well, assuming that a 14 year old with no experience in the oh-so coveted field of tattooing wouldn't know a damned thing about bad tattoos, then yes, I suppose, under your basis of knowledge, that I'd be incredibly unfit to judge your tattooing skills. Now, while this shining gem of knowledge is completely fucktarded, I'll have you know that I've been hanging around tattoo shops for 2 or so years.
Yeah, my dad's a piercer, owns a tattoo shop, etc. etc. So I'd like to think I know a thing or two about some bad tattoos. Firstly, I'd like to address your super awesome skill of having your tattoos blur horribly, not to mention the awful art. I can see on the baby hand prints one that there's some noticeable scarring.
These are bad, you need to practice a lot more and not make anyone else your school project tattooing guinea pig.

The whole 'You're fourteen and don't know what this is about' argument is pretty flawed. You don't have to be a chef to taste good food. Truth be told, the baby does look wonky. And the lettering on the "Prints of who I protect" tattoo could be better. The text itself should be in an arc, not just the words.

thats not scarring dumb shit i took the picture the day after and the guy wasnt keepin the medicine on it, just cause you been hangin around tattoo shops dont mean your all of a sudden paul booth, been doin this two years without any training lets see what youve threw down

I never said I was a tattoo artist, I'm not, although I do hope to be one someday, (probably to have another art skillset under my belt, and I certainly don't aspire to be as awful as you)

I was simply saying that having been around hundreds and hundreds of tattoos, I can tell a good tattoo from a bad one, and a bad one from a horrible one. Your tattoos, my pea-brained friend, are terrible. You need to PRACTICE a LOT more.

Alright then dude, what you need to do is practice drawing, look outside everyday, find something interesting, and try and draw it. That's all you gotta do, later on you can find a living, breathing thing, and try and draw that (It's INCREDIBLY hard to do at first) eventually you'll begin improving your art, you need to practice shading and all that.

I don't mean to rain on your parade or anything but most of those shops won't take you because you need to practice drawing. Especially in the tattoo industry, you need to be fluent in all kinds of art, because everyone wants something different. Practice typography, perspective, shading, anatomy, and even color theory (color theory can go a LONG way when it comes to shading a colored tattoo)

So yeah, just practice that stuff, don't rush into it, it may seem exciting, but if you keep going the way you're going, you'll have a lot less then if you just sit down with a pencil for a good couple of months and practice.

This is a good example of sloppy work. You tried to give the letters a 3D 'beveled' look, but you failed pretty badly. The K's bevelling is all over the place, switching from bottom right to top left to none at all. The C has hardly any bevelling.

If you don't work out of shop, how do you ensure safety? Do you use an autoclave?

Yo. I'm not a "hardcore critic," so i won't bomb on you. I, unlike the other peoplez here, enjoy the dreamcatcher and i like the joker. Wut some of these peoplez haven't taken into consideration is that "the one that got the tattoo is pleased by it." Tell me, has any one of the peoplez u tattooed above complained about it? So im neutral in this situation so i hope neither of the sides hate on me. As for the critics, i do see wut they see but i don't see it as "a huge crack in the system." I do recommend that u practice wutever the customer wants drawn, on a piece of paper just to be safe. My point is, "IF THE CUSTOMER LIKES IT, THEN LEAVE AS IS" U have effort man. I agree, you need to practice... and not just on your art. I see a lot of ink bleed/blowing where you've gone too deep with the needle... and what's up with those random half moon deals!? They look kinda bad ...and painful ...and infected.
