It'll have to be way better than Fable 2 to even meet the hype about Fable 1. Open-ended games are fun, but when you can literally run Fable 2 to completion in like the 4 days I borrowed it, it kind of ruins the point. For it to be a really good game, the consequences for your actions are going to have to become less 'cause-and-effect', and be more of a result of several decisions wrapped up into one. Especially with weight gain. Come on, you eat like 2 pies, and suddenly you gain like 300 pounds? And then running in circles and fasting for 10 days does nothing to cut your waistline, but chow down on 10 pieces of celery and you look good as new.
What I'm saying is that you can enter every decision knowing exactly what the outcome is going to be without even thinking about it, and that's not what the game is supposed to be like. For a series that puts a tremendous emphasis on decision-making, there are entirely too many reversable, obvious, and/or inconsequential things to decide.

It was good. But it was really hyped up (By myself also) and didn't live up to its huge expectations.

They should just make it a expanison pack, price it at 60$ and call it a full game.

Mol today announced that Fable III will utilize Natal. Considering Fable III is sketched in for late 2010, and banking on it doesn't get delayed, Natal should be launching Fall/Holiday 2010.

Mehhh, don't really care about Fable anymore, I pre-ordered Fable 2 thinking it was going to be amazing and all I got was some over-hyped piece of shit.

I probably won't. This will end up being a big let down for me. Although, with the second one, they did add a few more secret/optional places, so maybe they'll continue with that and make this game pretty extensive. Because the storyline for both games was incredibly short.

True, the first one was over-hyped if anything. Still good though.

It did sell very well. With it coming in 2010 and Elder Scrolls 5 possibly coming out as well it'll be an awesome year to be an RPG fan. Can't wait.

Funnily enough...Peter doesn't actualy lie, he just doesn't keep his mouth SHUT about his ideas for the game.

He doesn't realize that those Idea's will cost too much, so he decides to scrap alot from the game when he realizes the budget's running out.

Basically: He tells you his ideas for the game, which most developers usually keep to themselves unless they KNOW it's going to be in there. Peter just says what's on his mind, he doesn't lie or make false promises.

Anyway, I didn't really listen to the hype of Fable 2, I just bought it and thought it was great. Hell, I'd give a 8/10 and I'm definatly buying Fable 3...And 4 and 5 when they come out.

The problem is that Fable 1 was so damn good compared to any of it competitors at the time.

Fable 2 was... not bad. It was great fun... for a couple of hours. Great Multiplayer... but was fucked up.

They got everything kind of half right for the second one, I will get Fable 3 because I loved Fable 1 so much but they better not fuck it up again.

I actually can't wait! I have been playing Fable TLC on my PC for the last 2 days, I haven't played that in like 4 years, so it's absaloutly amazing to go back to it, and then I'm going to re-play Fable 2. :O
