Keep all talk about the tshirt here

Good news everyone! I have thought up an excellent idea for an Official BBS T-Shirt! Even more good news! Everything on this T-Shirt will be user-submitted on voted on, just like the BBS Awards. The Official BBS T-Shirt will be composed of a few things:

1. A user-created background. Any user may submit his or her original artwork to appear on the t-shirt. Rules and requirements for entries can be found (insert link with text "here"). Please keep all artwork posted in that thread alone.

2. If you are one of the popular regulars of the BBS then you are going to love this part. 10 Newgrounders user names will appear on the t-shirt! But who's name will show up you ask? Well that is for you to decide. The whole BBS community may vote on user names to appear on the shirt.

3. And at long last, we cannot forget our awesome mods! Everything that applies to the regulars will also apply to the mods. That means 10 mods, people vote, the whole shebang. There's only one catch, all mods will have their names written in gold. Got to love that gold aura!

So get going already! Artists gohere and start submitting your finished artwork.
And as for the 10 names each, go to the same link for voting!

It's a nice idea, but it wouldn't have as wide an appeal as NG merchandise with characters like Pico or the Angry Faic. As for the 10 name limit, a better idea would be to just screen cap the userbase one day, take the names from that and form it into a shape, much like they do for leaver's T-shirts where all the pupils names from that year are arranged to make the last 2 digits of that year (in this example, class of '06).

I seriously think you need to reconsider the "10 users will appear on this shirt" idea.

There are way more than 10 shirt worthy people here, and even if you did add the 50+ said people, it would doom the shirt the same way every shirt with the year it was made on it (eg. 1998 New Year's Party!"

I think that the shirt should just be art, or perhaps have all the BBS mods on it. After that, you're just going to hurt it.

Also, the NG Store should have a yellow shirt that just says "BBS" on the front. I'd buy that shit!

I don't think its such a bad idea, but having names on it would just ruin it. No one would buy it unless their name was on it (unless it was well known members/mods, then you might get people buying it).
