Oh meh god im getting sewed...or atleast might be....heres my situation.
I have a good ol' friend who let meh borrow somethang and i let him borrow somethang. Simple Right? but then few days later he said he lost meh thing....I was mad as hell but i let it go off cuz he said I could have his thing. So natturally, i try and sell the damn thing for money Lolz, and suceed. But then later on my friend finds my thing and gives it back to me and asks for his thing. I had to tell him the hard truth, and now here i am with the cops on my ass. Another thing is his dad is good friends with the cop so it makes matters worse. The cops cant actually make me buy something for him right? I mean, it was a simple mistake, i assumed that i owned the damn thing after he lost it, how could i know he was gonna find it again? Course the cops are kinda leaning towards my friends side cuz his dad is friends with the cops.
Do you guys think the cops could force me to replace it? I dont think so, any ideas of how i should handle this?
