Radiohead - Twisted Words (free)

Wow... I forgot how short our subject titles have to be on this forum.

Anyone, anyone heard the new Radiohead song "These Are My Twisted Words"? They just released it (for free) on their website.

To be honest, I'm not liking it. Maybe it will grow on me (most their albums do), but for some reason I'm just not getting the vibe at all from this one.

Anyway, just thought I'd post it here incase there are any Radiohead fans about.

I'm in love with it. The haunting atmosphere it makes. The very trippy guitar track. Do you think they leaked it themselves for publicity, and maybe releasing something soon? That would be cool.

I neglected to download Harry Patch, but I did get These Are My Twisted Words and I'm not liking it either. Jonny did say on the Radiohead site that they've been recording for awhile and Twisted is one of the first they finished, so we'll probably see more singles released on the site. Hopefully this was just their obligatory "filler" track and the rest they release is up to standards.

The leaks of it were confirmed to be by Radiohead themselves, but they released it officially for download on their site today, along with some artwork.

As far as I know, they're not doing anymore albums after In Rainbows so we'll only see digital single and EP releases.

Eh. I'm not really a fan of radiohead. The only song that I know by them is Creep.

Try "Fake Plastic Trees", "Optimistic", "High and Dry" and "Karma Police"

Then all of the albums "Kid A" and "OK Computer."

Huh, I saw it on Youtube a few days back and there was some news article about it.
I like it, but the intro is freaking 2.5 minutes long, it got a little boring.

Yup. They leaked it.

And the intro is quite a bit too long. The whole song is boring.

I didn't like it the first time that I heard it, but after putting it on my iPod and giving it a few listens, I got really into the riffs and the complexities and textures of the guitar.

As for the topic, I like this song quite a bit, kind of spooky.
