Hello, I have been working on this logo for my site and animations. I would like some constructive critisism before I release it.
-
Some stuff about me:
My alias is "farfenwaffle"
I create flash animations frame by frame
My website name is farfenwaffle.com
-
my colors I use
brown,yellow,black,red
-
I think I will spiff it up later on, This is mostly a rough sketch.

It's a logo, what do you think it represents? Is the message of the product clear? Is it recognizable?
I see that you think the art is minimalistic, and if you think that is a problem I can try to make it more to your likes. But would it make it better? Please criticize the art not the post.

Hmmmm... thanks for the link but I am rather insulted. I guess that's criticism for you. I actually just checked out some books on graphic design and logo creation. I myself thought I did a good job but the public says different.

Sorry for wasting anyone who comes across this thread's time.

if you goin for minimalistic then you hit it dead on the only thing i can say is probly flesh it out a bit stick figures arent impressive, also on the first one get rid of the white on the outside if you can it makes it look sloppy, can i do one too show you how i would do it?

I don't have much new to add to what's already been said.
This logo was pretty easy to remake, It's unclear and it looks like this is what you made on your first try. But most of all it's really forgetable, and sorry for saying but that might be a good thing. If I were to see this logo on a list of websites this would probably be the last one I'd click on. It gives the idea your website is full with stickman cartoons, flash, comics, drawings and links to Pivot movies.
Try something that represents what you do, what you have on your site or what you like. A logo doesn't have to be a character, when I think of your name I see a waffle with syrup and your websites name around it in a bow. Try to think out of the box!

you seem to be offended easily
so no offense, but im gonna tell you how it is
and by that i will say it was very crudely done
might just be me, but when i first saw the face i had no idea that was supposed to be a waffle
but lets put that part aside
thats something a 5 year old would draw in about 5 seconds with markers
it could be an animation of a guy with a waffle head walking and then flicking the scarf (is that what it is?) over his shoulder
but atm just being a stick figure it is really bad...
... seriously
so flesh it out make it a person
maybe even scrap the whole thing (like some have suggested)
but if you keep it like that people will laugh... hard... soooo get it? good.
btw this is your average constructive criticism so if you dont like it then posting stuff and asking for comments might not be for you

I agree with the above statements. You can have a stick-figure with a "#" sign as a face for your website logo if you want, but don't come here acting like it's some official business trademark.
