Please Help: Donations To Film

I haven't been on these boards in a long time, so I'm kinda off on the rules. So if this goes against the rules, I apologize and please lock this. I also didn't know which forum to post this into, so again, I apologize.

I'm currently financing my directorial debut in filmmaking. This is not my first project, but my first project that I'm actually shooting for enterting into film festivals and the works.

I've hit a wall, though. Funding isn't coming well at all. I'm shooting for $55,000 and I've only saved up $9,000. I'm currently looking for any possible way to get this budget up.

Please take the time and watch the video below. If you do not intend to contribute, thank you for the time anyway. Please pass the video off to other's to get the word around.

I currently don't have any of my projects uploaded, which is a big concern since most people aren't going to donate with nothing to base an opinion off of. So please ignore that aspect for now, as I'll have videos up very, very shortly.

You don't go into a project expecting to win "multiple awards, have it be an acclaimed, world wide release" and stuff like that. Personally, I'd be more worried about actually getting it into a film festival.

I noticed that after i uploaded. I didn't intentionally do that. I was just trying to build confidence in the viewers since currently I have none of my projects uploaded. I plan on creating a new/better video once I get my videos uploaded onto my computer.

If your film is really worth financing, take out a loan from a bank, and pay it off with the proceeds from your effort. All truly worthwhile films pay for themselves. People desiring to view your film, and being willing to pay in order to do so, is the singular measure of its success and the worthiness of its contribution to the film world, in my opinion.
