I count it as a sport, much as I count solitaire as a card game.
But just imagine competitive solitaire, with people competing against each other on identically shuffled decks for who can sort it quickest.

Announcer #1 Watching grass grow has a much bigger crowd and people actually showed up! Announcer# 2 No medals though this isn't actually an even t but we are working on it instead of golf.
