I think its just the general forum because you can post whatever you like its actually quite civilised on the flash and audio forums ect...

Hmm.... I didn't notice that thread. I don't think I want to notice it again.

I frequent the Video Games forum as well - it's a lot more civilized that way. People don't post completely useless stuff in it, such as that thread.

For things like that, I think the best you can do is just to look through it and then move on if it doesn't interest you. If there's tons and tons of spam coming into General from all sides, then consider just sending a message to a mod if it makes you feel any more useful, and if it improves your time here. Out of my experience here, I just advise people to act a bit more casually on issues like this. There's not much else you can really do to keep things away all the time, so I think users should sit back and find something else to enjoy on the BBS. Otherwise you end up falling into that pit of worrying about the future of the BBS, which tends to result in many horrible, silly arguments spewing forth on to the forum. So yeah.

And as users have already said, the more specialised discussion on the other forums tends to be more interesting to read, if you know what the topic at hand is. The users in those threads will know what they're talking about obviously. I think people are unfair on General at times, but yeah, it can get messy in a few different ways. Again, healthy thinking I suggest.
