Well there are a number of things wrojng with what you just said. The first is that I for one pressed every button at least once, in fact the zero and one buttons once respectively. The second is that, while it's kind of a medal, it's easier to call it a rank as to not get it confused with gaming medals. And staying on NG all day? Actually yeah, I did that. Nevermind.

It was my first clock day too, and i had a lot of fun if you didn't like it then just stay out of the portal for that day and lurk the BBS as usual, it's not that hard.

Yah, if you don't like it, just ignore it.

From what I heard it was one of the worst years since 2005, I wasn't here this Clock Day, too busy out getting wasted.

I think that may be a record for Clock Day. Certainly not too exhilarating for those who said Clock Day was dead. Wonder if they'll be able to drag the scores down like the past few years. =/

It seemed a bit slower than last years, I was on for a few hours and managed to get about 300, I remember last year i got around 1500 or so but thats when I was on this site all the time. I know everyone is saying its not as good as last years or years past but they seem to say that every year. Just accept it for what it is, tradition and fun.

I wish I could have got a lot more saves. I blammed a lot, I never really knew the point of clock day until now. :P

You guys are saying that all people do all Clock Day is spam, for the most part it is true. But the spamming isn't really being done by the Clock Crew, but by other Newgrounds users and shitty spin off groups like the Duck Division. Only maybe 10% of the flashes are submitted by real Clocks on Clock Day now. While I admit 'Drew Pickles xxx porno' is spam, the clock crew didn't make it. Like even though a guy named 'StoryClock' first submitted a stolen flash from StrangeClock and then changed it to a beheading video with the comments 'Duck Division > Clock Crew.' You can obviously tell he's part of the DD, not the CC.

Just actually watch the fucking movies before you complain all the Clock Crew does is spam. Now stop complaining. If you don't like what's happening go sit in a corner for twenty-four hours.

Glad its over. All clock movies are about pretty much the same thing and its very easy to get sick of them. I'm convinced 95% of the interest for clock day is for the save points and/or to get a cheaply made movie through the portal, not for the actual content of the movies or the crew itself. For the entire year, the CC is dead and most people forget about them or don't even believe the crew exists anymore except for Aug 15th. But after that day, it goes right back to being dead again. I don't expect the same cycle to change for 2010 though, but the possibility that people will submit/care even less seems to be taking over.

If there's any reason why anyone can't kill Strawberry Clock, its because he's a zombie now.

I increased my save points by 25% of what tehy origanally were. I think this clock day was succesfull.

To be honest, I didn't think it was as good as 2007.
I sort of think they've declined a bit since 2007, but they still have their good ones at least.

I only obtained 331 saves. So I think it was shit.

I missed it, but looking back on the submissions for the day it looks like it wasn't too amazing, same statwhoring, alongside a few decent Flashes. As much as I love the CC, I reckon that Clockday is pretty dry and is less about recognition of the clocks and more a chance for a few cheap saves and easy B.A. building (rather than being stuck half-way inbetween the two).

It was slightly disapointing. I could get 200 saves by relaxing in the last 2 years. Now I have to be on the PC 8 hours before I got 200 saves. I only just got the 500 I was aiming for. I'm not doing that agian next year because it will be even worse

That's still pretty good. I was sad that I missed Clock Day last year so I pulled an all nighter and spent basically the whole day on the portal. I only missed about fifty submissions in total.

I sure hope it won't be worse next year, nor do I think it will be. If the Clock Crew is aware of our complaints, I bet they'll really hustle next year. But I dunno.

No new medal games or movies, dissapointing.

I enjoyed it, and I find these threads great for shameless plugs.
