well a few days ago i started thread called the big game concepts in the art forum. so narturally i posted a concept picture for a game that i've been designing
so in the original post i mentioned that i would like some guest artist. i stated that i would like about 10 of them. (i was planning on making about sixty charecters, whether those 10 would be included in those 60 was undecided by me) so i got two people that wanted to, both pretty good not bad not great. so then she comes along and says i got to post a full sprite sheet first before anyone else posts their art , which was the first what the hell for me. but then i realized ya know maybe she thinks that they wont realize what they're getting into and how many sprites they'll have to make. so i ask her that and she says no it's because she thinks i'm gonna make them do allthe work while i do shit, what the fucking donkey shit, i said i was gonna do around sixty sprite sheets while they do one a piece and i'm only gonna have like 10 guest artists, so then she says that i should post a full sprite sheet , so while i'm working on it i decide to whip up a few example pictures for what the charecter selection screen pictures should look like, then she chastizes me for not posting the whole goddamn thing.WHAT THE BUTTRAPE FUCKPATATO! i was posting i piece by piece so they can see it over time instead of not seeing anything for five goddamn days and then see a picture so large you can't even make out the smaller pictures. so then she locks my thread and says i need to send her a link of a fully completed sprite sheet and she'll unlock it. one, why the fucking cowbitch shit is that, and two says i need to personally send her a fucking picture before the thread is unlocked. WHAT THE ANALPROBED SHITCAKES IS HER PROBLEM! what is she putting me on fucking timeout or something! i mean shit, i can easily start a new thread . she's uing the ability to lock threads define that she thinks that she's better than me. i mean what a bitch

so i decided to put a question here . have you ever had a situation where you have a mod (not like mindchanber tom fulp, ect. ect. but a not as well known person) locked your thread for a bitchass reason?

YOU need to make a COMPLETED sprite set of any ONE character. Not a concept sketch. Not a doodle. DONE. Ready to be put in a game. FINISHED!!

When you have that, pm me with a link (put it on your user page or where ever). Once I see that your serious (and capable), I'll unlock this thread and you can carry on with your 'guest' art recruiting.

Honestly, she's 100% right, you're trying to get other people to do your work, and complaining about her locking your thread isn't going to change her mind. What's so hard about her request anyways?

Apparently, neither do you, noob isn't referring to newness, its referring to your inability to learn.

She asked you to post a sprite sheet because you were doing a lot of talking but not showing a lot of work. You had posted a few EXTREMELY rough sketches, but nothing that actually had shown that you were working on the games. Nae wants you to wait until you have a full sprite sheet because she wants to make sure that you are really serious about getting this project done and not just wasting the artists time.

Nae didn't ask anything unreasonable from you, and it's a perfectly legit reason to put your call for artists on hold. You may get halfway through the project and decide "Fuck this i'm doing something else" and have wasted all of the artists time.

It's also important to get this done and show it is so that the users who have agreed to help you or are thinking of helping you have a clear picture of the quality of work YOU are putting forth into this game. If the game is looking like shit than no artist is going to want to spend time to make a good piece for you.

Stop being so butthurt and just man up and get it done.
