Scariest game... I don't have a lot of those but Silent Hill ,Resident evil series,Clock Tower would be scary If I had the paitence to fully appreciate the english translation for the Super Famicom.

I remember this one game that scared me, but I forgot what it's name was. It was like an old FPS for like Windows '95 or something. Now that I think about it, it wasn't that scary. I was just young when I played it. But I still remember times where something would pop out at me.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say DOOM?
Maybe System Shock?

Condemmed 2 before it suffers from MGS2 Plot Syndrome. And who can forget Eternal Darkness. "It's.. not..really...happening!"

I know for sure that it isn't DOOM, but I'm not sure about System Shock. I guess I'll go check it out.

Half-Life 2. Not only Ravenholm either-- there were a lot of moments before and after it. Before that city, one time, I went into a tunnel that had a very creepy wind sound coming from it, and then a zombie suddenly popped up in front of me from the puddle. It scared the FUCK out of me.

So far System Shock 2, I have only beaten it thru once, and it still scares me when I play it.
Lets play System Shock 2, Or Why I hate super intelligent A.I. Systems.

Half life 2 scared me a little, when you go into those tunnels and get hear a zombie, it creeped me out, especially when your sprint bar and battery are the same....
Also, in Half life 2 EP1, when you have to wait for the elevator in pitch black while being assaulted wasn't fun either.
But Clive Barker's Jericho scared me terribly when I played on my friends PS3.

Silent Hill didn't do it for me. I just wasn't scared by it...then again I'm older and the game(s) are about 7 years old...and Resident Evil
Eternal Darkness *shakes head*, Fatal Frame (so the only way to take care of them is to take pictures of the ghosts...up close?), Dead Space (gotta love the sound effects), and Fear (creepy little girl needs some pedobear love <3)
I think I'll try out Condemned 2 (never played the 1st one. My brother has the 360 right and my computer can somewhat play it).

Hmmmmm, prob gonna have to say ''Project Zero'' on Xbox. its a pretty slick ass game but very scary :S i mean u walk around a abondon burnt out japanese house and all u got is a camera.
Everytime u look into it then all u see is these fudged up looking ghosts that nearly 95% of the time are right infront of the lens haha at 4am in the pitch dark of ur room, thats some pretty scary stuff, no lies :P.

It's pretty much a tie between Silent Hill and Silent Hill 2 (in my opinion anyways). Silent Hill was the king of psychological horror, but Silent Hill 2 had the graphics to go along with its scary moments...
