First of all, the problem has been solved. I restarted the computer manually and now Windows VIsta is fine. If you want to hear one of the scariest Windows problems, keep reading.

So this morning I turned my computer on. It loaded, and when the desktop appeared a message said "log on" could not execute or some thing, and to click OK to terminate the process (I did not get a screen shot). Anyways, after clicking OK, I could not click any icon on my screen exept for the basic my programs and recycle bin. The computer showed my three hard drives, and all of them were showed EMPTY. I was fucking freaking out. Then, I clicked start and NO PROGRAMS EXISTED in the programs section. (I use the classic start so imagine what that looks like). Not even the "Shut Down" button would work. This meant that I was screwed. But, I restarted manually and "logon" seemed to execute, Microsoft; THE PROCESS THAT LETS ME USE WINDOWS AND SEE EVERY THING IN IT???

At least it was one in a million, because if that were going to happen at every start up I would have to get into some deep shit. Also luckily I have no porn so if I had to bring my computer in to GeekSquad I would have nothing to worry about!

Your System32 was deleted temporarily on all three drives. Hell, the three drives were probably temporarily deleted. Good thing someone restored it.

Something like that happened when I plugged my old 17 inch LCD in the wrong port of the PC.

It was really trippy, there were some icons scattered everywhere and nothing worked right.

Yeah, my Windows Vista does random stuff like that all the time. Half the time when I turn my laptop on, "windows explorer" (not internet explorer, I mean Windows itself) freezes, and I have to end process for it, so that it will work properly. Sometimes the icons in the far right tray don't show up, so I can't change the volume of the speakers.

I took it to GeekSquad, since I have a warranty on it, and they just told me that my computers fine. Funny thing is, it didn't start doing this until they replaced my motherboard...

My cousin's dad got his PC's motherboard replaced and now the task bar is permanently on the right side of the screen, vertical. This is because the settings remember and are fit with the last motherboard and how it operates, and now with a new motherboard there are some weird ass bugs. The only way to fix these bugs is do do a fresh install of Windows.

If I leave my system on at night, it automatically goes to the log-on screen, while cycling its sleep cycle/S3 sleep mode constantly, so my computer goes into sleep mode, and then shuts off, resets, and turns itself back on.

Constantly.

Constantly.

Constantly.

Like every hour and a half.

Freaky.

You should always do a fresh install / reformat / HD wipe when installing a new motherboard.

you can usually move the task bar, first left click it and check lock the task bar isnt turned on then click a blank space on the task bark and drag it to the bottem of the screen and then it will snap to the bottom (hint:the task bar will only appear at the edges of the screen)

Exactly. I mean, Vista is good 99 times out of 100, but then one day, it will just suddenly start fucking up. It's very disappointing, because otherwise, it's an excellent OS.

Correct. When you use OSX you feel like you are invincible; like you are really weak your self, but you are protected by some God who is invincible. On Windows, you have a much larger responsibility on keeping your system free of bugs and working properly. Facts here people. And I like Windows BECAUSE of the fact. I love the challenges Windows can give me every once in a while; they keep me sharp and careful. But when I cannot solve the problem or the problem actually deletes my Hard drive, I will fucking implode. Luckily, this was not the case :), and I have never had a total meltdown failure on Windows. Only the occasional "what the fuck" or "holy shit."

Some how, even after seeing how fast and pure OSX is, and using it with ease and stuff, I still cannot love it as much as Windows. Just some thing about it, that I am sure even Mac users know, but don't say it, and that is OK, becuase people are different. There are many advantages of using OSX, and some people just would rather live in perfect harmony. I don't.

that ending was a bit over the top so here is a darkened text line to cheer this post up a bit

Or hang in there 2 months and get Windows 7.
